The World Lore of Aegora

Welcome to Aegora, a world where gods walk among mortals, and the boundary between realms is a carefully crafted, brick-wall.
Long ago, the world was divided into five super-continents, each harboring a unique elemental power.
The towering mountains of Solace, burning with fire; Caine’s vast waters, shrouded in fog; Theros’ deep caves teeming with life.
Aeos’ floating Fortress soaring above the clouds, and the storm-lashed island of Calasae crackling with the power of lightning.
Humanity harnessed these elemental forces to forge powerful technology and weapons, but with this power came greed.
Nations experimented on their own people, trying to fuse them with the elements. Most failed, but one survivor from each continent ascended, becoming a god.
This marked the beginning of a devastating war. Each nation sent its remaining champions, the Five, to battle for supremacy.
But when the Five met, they chose a different path: to end the old world, go against their creators, and start anew, vowing never to repeat their mistakes.
Centuries later, the elemental power of the old world still lives on in humanity’s genes, manifesting in three forms: The Ancient, The Temper, and The Neutral.
The Ancient—those with dormant old-world power; The Temper—a volatile and often destructive gene; and The Neutral—present in everyone, but limited to the mundane.
These powers shape the world today, but few venture into the ruins of the old, where monsters and guardians still roam.
The gods, once loving and protective, have grown distant from their people over the centuries.
Calasae’s automated system runs Lucernas; Caine obsesses over knowledge; Solace destroys his own lands; and Theros hides beneath the City of Basalt.
Aeos, the youngest and most naive, loved openly but paid the ultimate price at the hands of Elyon, a mysterious Void Inherent.
Season 1 takes place about 20.000 years A.R (after Reset), with Season 2 starting About 15 years after the events of Season 1.

Calasae, the Goddess of War, and the oldest of the 5 siblings. War doesn't just mean battle though, she is a master of strategies, planning and automation as well. On her continent, she created a system so perfect, it basically runs on its own. Nobody here lives in povery, but people have to work hard to become anything more than taken care of. Loyalty to the system above all. From the outside, it might seem like she rules her continent with an Iron Fist, but that is far from the truth. Calasae was seemingly killed during the finale of the Season 1 Civil War, with Elyon delivering the final blow.

Caine, the God of Secrets and ruler over The Seven Waters. He is largely known as the "Switzerland" of this universe, sporting an impressive bank of information on anything and anyone, which is why most of his siblings shy away from starting anything with him. His main City of Lunos is the most advanced Surveillance state in this world, and while it wasn't always like this, he grew tired of his people always asking for more and never staying in line. So now he just watches from his Librarian seat of Power, having turned his attention elsewhere entirely.

Solace, the master of the forge, burning with the flamess of creation and boredom.

Theros, primordial god of Nature, now secluded from his people, letting his creations run amok on his continent.

Aeos, most benevolent. He accepted anyone, but was naive as he was the youngest of them all. Rumor says he is no more, as his continent was ripped apart when Azura left, as ELyon had taken control of it.

The Void, or also known as The Abyss. A layer below reality as we know it, locked away by the 5 to never see the light of day again. It is rumored that there exists a place at the edge of the Void, that the Gods can retreat to if they ever need to disappear.
